From the Founder: Hi, thanks for spending some time on our website. I know you have a lot of choices when it comes to Outfitters so let me thank you again for taking the time to consider us for your next hunting trip. My Wife and I have been married for over ten years and have two absolutely amazing Children. We live in Western Kansas just hours from where I grew up in Colorado, I still visit "home" often"
I have over 10 years as a "Professional Hunter" although I dislike that term thats exactly what I am. Red Dog was established in 2010 while the balance of my industry experience came out of High School with a Duck Club I started in 1998. Of the many things that Outfitting brings to the table I think the one thing I love the most is being able to share the excitement with some of my hunters as they take their largest animal ever. Counterpoint to that, the worst part is following a blood trail that ends with no pile of meat and bones at the end. Its a hard business but I'm a blessed man to be able to do it as my only source of income. My work history in the last 10 years plus consists of;
US Truck Driving School Sales Manager January 2006 October 2012 Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
Red Dog Outfitters, LLC Owner August 2010 to Present Hoxie, KS 67740
Its certainly not a resume' but hey, you're hiring me so you better know what you're getting into.
A few more things about me. I am self employed for a reason. I want to live my life the way God intended it and not hide who I am to keep others happy. I'm a RECOVERING Alcoholic, a Businessman, Christian and a Family Man amongst others. I love Photography, Poker, Traveling, Cooking, Eating, Gardening, Fishing and Hunting and most of all, doing ANYTHING with my Boy.
Please take some time to review our trail cam pictures (which I pride myself on) and our trophy photos. Please know what some Deer are smaller and often times those are my clients biggest Buck. We do NOT have nor will we ever have penalties. You'll also notice some rather large Deer, we do not have trophy fees. The last thing you need to be doing in the tree stand is calculating age or inches. If you hunt here, you come hungry and you be ready to shoot the one you "KNOW" you love not the one you have to think about, those usually turn out much smaller than you think at the time.

Patricia Clark moved to Colorado in 2003 to be near her sister. She was born in Arizona and moved between Reno and Lake Tahoe at an early age. With a serious passion for fishing already installed she was prewired for hunting. Tim took Patty on a 5 day Muzzleloader hunt in Colorado when they'd just started dating and she took right to hunting. Patty doesn't have a lot of kills under her belt, Colt has played a factor in that but she has taken up archery and is quit a shot. Patty helps with a variety of the operations side of RDO and will be helping out the Fall. Our hope is to have Patty go full time RDO by next spring, taking over the Dog breeding division, scheduling and several other duties. If you go on a guided trip with RDO, you're sure to catch some of Pattys cooking, whether its Whitetail Meatloaf, Chicken Enchiladas, Lasagna or Pizza, she can throw down with the best of them.

Michael Allemang was raised on the western slope of Colorado. He grew up in an outdoor family. Hunting, fishing, rafting, camping and cooking were family activities. Michael started guiding hunters at the age of 18, working under his father's guidance. At the age of 21 he passed the Colorado outfitters exam and became a licensed outfitter in the state of Colorado. He went on to work for serval different outfitters in the state and guide outdoor pack trips during the summer months. He developed a true passion for big game animals, a keen instinct for finding them and a sharp eye for spotting them. In those days working in the high elevations and possessing a drive that didn't quit once he spotted his quarry he earned the nickname, "the Mountain Goat".
The love of the big game led to learning the art of taxidermy, which he still practices today. Bringing the animal's natural beauty back to life and recreating the thrill of the hunt. Together with his wife and children he has now settled in Grainfield Kansas where he continued his passion for the outdoors and customer service industry by opening up a Bed and Breakfast geared toward the outdoorsman. He still has the sharpest eye for spotting game, an instinct for finding them and can field dress a deer in less than 5 minutes. Michael is excited to be joining the Red Dog Family and continuing to pass along his passion for wildlife and the outdoors through guiding and hosting new friends on their next great adventure.
